Liora is the artistic director of Mayura Blue as well as our main teacher.  Those wanting to become part the troupe must make a commitment to attend classes and rehearsals as needed.  Classes run year round.

The troupe not only studies with Liora. Troupe members are encouraged to take many genres of dance and go to local conventions and workshops in the area.  Some include the Austin Belly Dance Convention, Migrations World Dance Festival, and  Bayou Belly Festival.
